What better place to sit than a comfy sofa? This drawing illustrates a woman sitting on her sofa while no doubt giving someone, possibly a child or friend her undivided attention. First I drew this picture onto my sketchpad with a No. 2 pencil, then I outlined it with a black gel pen in preparation to color it using my computer. The gel pen works great in allowing the computer to find exactly where to 'drop' the paint. Once painted I used an emboss and film grain technique to add a more defined and enriched look to it.
