About Easy Drawings And Sketches

videotutorialbannerNEW

Welcome!

This story is not only about me but also about you my friend :)

About meAbout me

I am so happy you are here wanting to know more about easy drawings and sketches and find out who is behind this domain. Hi, my name is Ivan Huska, I am the creator of this site.

I am from Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia). I have lived in Japan for more than 26 years.

Before I came to Japan I lived in Prague – in the Czech Republic for a couple of years, at the time working for a Japanese trading house.

My mission is to inspire you to go after your dream whatever it is.
It does not need to be necessarily drawing.

The perfect time is NOW!

I used to make lots of drawings and paintings in my school years. Playing guitar and singing in a band till my university years.

Then….long and dark age of artistic inactivity. It was painful. I fooled myself that this is real life…Maybe you have a similar experience - most likely.

One day, (I was in Japan already) I woke up from the “silent resignation” and bought myself a piano.

In February 2004, I enrolled in a private piano school together with other elementary school children.

I learned piano from zero, just like other school kids.

I was 42. Talk about “too late” or “too old”.

My first piano children’s concert was in September 2004.

Yes, children’s concert, and I was one of them ;-)

This was one of the best days of my entire life. I wish you to experience something similar.

Playing the classical piano is one of the happiest and most peaceful moments.

The next children’s concert was in May 2006, I played 4 hands with my piano teacher.

I also had a dream to learn opera singing.

Since a long time ago I was captivated by Italian opera and old Italian arias (Arie Antiche Italiane).

But I had no clue how to produce such a huge and large-scale voice, as the only thing I was ever singing was rock’n’roll….

In Summer 2005 my piano teacher introduced me to opera singing teacher.

…coincidence…?!

The Opera teacher taught me how to breathe, how to exercise the body and we worked on improving my voice step by step.

I was 43. Talk about “too old” or “too late”.

In December 2006 I was on the stage singing Italian Aria. What a feeling!

Here in Japan once you start private piano lessons teacher will ask you to attend the children’s concert.

It is fun, and I learn a lot from the kids every time.

They are such small fantastic geniuses. Every one of them.

My next concert was in November 2008.

Now, I am bringing into reality my dream about drawing.

I started to build this website in September 2008.

I was 46. Talk about “too old” or “too late”

Physical age is only a state of mind nothing more.

We all create our reality how we feel inside and what we believe is possible.

It is that simple. What do you believe is possible for yourself?

I tell you: whatever you can imagine.

I always wanted to be active online but had no clue of how to do it.

Internet marketing or affiliate businesses, etc. was very tempting but I felt it would be just another “online job” for me, as I know myself.

On the other hand, doing something that I love while enjoying a steadily increasing number of visitors tastes very different and tastes much, much better and sweeter.

The reason I make this site is simple; I love to draw, and I would love it if my drawings inspire or motivate you.

Maybe you are a student who would like to make living by drawing or art.

Maybe you are retired and had no time for yourself for decades.

Maybe you are in the middle of your career that you hate and would like to change directions.

I hope my very short story inspires you especially if you gave up on your dreams because it is just “too late” or because you might think you are just “too old”….or “too young”…

Think about it!

I wish you all the best on your extraordinary life journey!
