Let me introduce you to Celia and a few of her original anime drawings. I
am so pleased I can show you her small gallery. For every anime – manga
enthusiast, these few drawings and details are very inspirational.
Let’s take a closer look.
Look at the “Hearts” drawing. I love the idea of hearts and spades décor
on his collar and white gloves. Red scarf around his neck with the
skull, so cool and scary at the same time.
This guy looks to me like a historical figure reappearing again in
modern times. As if he just cannot find what he was looking for in
today’s world. He looks quite handsome, yet he is sad because something
is wrong. Maybe he still cannot find a suitable girlfriend he can love.
Great concept idea.
Student who seems to forget to study…..hahaha……as if I see myself back
in my school years. Colorful notes around his head probably represent an
easy going mind a kind of carelessness. Somewhere deep in his heart he
knows that in the end all will turn out OK, and it will.
“Le Artist”; great idea with the pencil stacked on his ear. Dark jacket
with the red and white striped shawl is an awesome combination; this
really looks like an artist. Celia has a great sense for detail in face
expression on these drawings. The artist looks like as if he is still
going to perfect or polish his artwork.
Little smiling Tiger for Happy Birthday is just so cute and beautiful idea. I love this small character.
I would be very happy if you can find some inspirational ideas and
details in these drawings. Hope you can use them for your own drawings.
An original character of mine. Done with colored pencils (it's actually my first manga/anime drawing I've done with colored pencils.) It was pretty hard getting the shape of the face and the color of the eyes right, but he turned out okay, I think.
Looks like somebody forgot to study for the test...
Ahem. I drew this on a day when I was feeling frustrated at my own artwork...
An original character of mine, named Asa, who is a sword swallower in a circus back in the 1800's. Looking back on this, I guess I should've drawn him, well, actually swallowing a sword... but the main focus of this drawing was the circus-y outfit. And man, it was fun to draw. I drew it on paper, but then made some edits in Photoshop - just the photo corner thingies and making the background white.
A picture I drew for a friend for her birthday... Dang, the pattern on the face was hard, lemme tell ya...
