My drawing of Winter the dolphin

When Winter was only 2-3 months old she was caught in a crab trap and suffered major injuries to her tail. As a result of this she had to get it removed. Kevin Carol from Hanger Prosthetics saw Winter and he knew he had to do something to help her so Kevin and his team rose to the challenge and soon they created a prosthetic dolphin tail for Winter. She then became the 1st sea creature in history to use an artificial limb! Winter is now flourishing at Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) and she has such a positive attitude which is so important to anyone who is faced with a difficult challenge! Inspired by her story I decided to draw her.
