I remember looking at pictures of The Solar System as a kid (I'm now 65!)It never grows old. From left to right: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. I know, I know Pluto is no longer a planet. Poppycock, I say! Pluto will always be a planet to me poor little guy! The "relative" sizes are fairly accurate in my drawing. The distances between the planets are not. The Sun is sooo big (1,392,000 Km across) that I could only show a sliver of it. The colouring is based on current Hi Res NASA photographs. Did you know Men/Women are going back to the Moon in 2024 - can't wait. "To boldly go..." As with my "CN Workhorse" drawing submitted earlier I "drew" the Solar System on my computer. I envy all the amazing hand drawings on this site - but my forte is with computer drawings. Keep doing your amazing hand drawings but give computer art a try too. It's fun.
