I submitted a drawing earlier called Sun and Planets and was disappointed that in order to fit all the planets on the drawing I had to make the sun very “skinny” showing just the edge of it. This drawing shows the sun much, much better. It took quite a while to make it look as real as possible – the way it looks as seen by a high-resolution telescope like The Hubble Telescope. The pretty coloured areas are known as “nebulae”. These are vast areas of interstellar dust and clouds. You’ll have fun trying to draw these wonders.
