For many of you my friends, these simple sketches and drawings are a
very good material for our study. Sunnu Golwalla has been so kind and
uploaded her work for all of us to see.
The drawing of carnations, which she followed the tutorial from this
site, she did a great work. Besides that, I like even more her
independent morning glory drawing. It has an awesomely fresh look and
the blue color of flower petals is very elegant.
Just see that little sparrow. She matched the colors of sparrow just so surprisingly well that I am in awe :)
Simple color sketch of mountain landscape and flying birds “returning home” has a very soothing and relaxing effect.
Sunnu Golwalla’s work is great, is evolving and is getting better – and that is the point. As I always say: we are here to learn how to draw and share our drawings and sketches
I believe you will learn many new insights from her drawings and
sketches that will help you to become a better artist yourself :)
I have sketched a few flowers in black and white and this is the first one in colour
Even in humblest surrounding in Pakistan one can see this small bird 'gentle n sweet' as a friend described it. It was most natural choice of bird for me to sketch.
I have been drawing flowers and birds but then I wanted to sketch something different, so I 'googled' simple landscape drawings and liked these two and then sketched them.
My first drawing of a horse. Simple line one, one posted earlier is a detailed one but with just the horse head.
This is my first drawing of a horse. A simple line drawing done by kids. Next to follow is a detailed one.
Kingfisher is a tiny bird with a large beak and lovely colours.
It attracted me at once and I wanted to try and draw it and colour as
well.
However, I found that colouring is a totally different ball game. It takes twice the time than a pencil sketch and the finish is not quite easy. Mine has lot of empty spaces and bold pencil lines. BUT it was a delightful experience and time pleasurably spent.
I was daunted at first to get the wings correctly but as I progressed it all fell in place. Thank you for the instructions that come on your website. I am now spending my time well and feel satisfied when a drawing is complete. Hope to use colours in a short while.
From one simple flower: a rose and a hibiscus, to carnation flower and buds is now drawn learning from your website how to do it. Thank you.
While browsing for sketches of flowers I tumbled on your website and got guidance for sketching and even invitation to upload a drawing. Did the latter first, and now am sending a drawing of hibiscus flower learned from your website.
This flower is a great connector. Shared on What's App with friends and each one has her own story about tulips
We Parsis are a minority community in the Indian Subcontinent. Our bridal couple dress like this. I saw this image on a magazine over and sketched it. Also coloured the background which is the first such experience for me. Do you like the image?
I loved the picture the minute I saw it and wanted to draw. It is the second drawing I have done in my life. Hope she delights the viewers as she did me.
Chris, a friend commented, "the flowers look pretty but they are stiff and lifeless.
Can you guide me as how I can put a bit of life and depth into them?
Will look forward to hearing from you.
