When we talk about cross hatching then the first thing that comes to our mind is single color, especially black. However, its possible to make colorful drawing by the usage of cross hatch. This simple small drawing shows colors used especially in the background by cross hatch. The pens used are the very pens in the photo; Tuzoo gel ink pens. So for example if I want to show a very dark blackish green, then I can use black and green. To have a better idea just observe the background of this art.
